I read. I love. I rant. This is the place to talk about that and put some sense to my thoughts in the process.
I'm not going to bother to rate it. I tried to get into it, but I got bored almost inmmediately; also, I didn't like the narrative style.
Hi everyone and thank you for following!!! I'm very happy, even though I haven't had time to log in and be more active n_n
I noticed there had been some trouble with my imported books from GR as some of them aren't available! This happened with most of my books in Spanish, so I'll have to fix that or delete them from my shelf.
Now, some basic information about me: I'm a Chilean from Patagonia, I study English Pedagogy and I'm a single mum. Besides reading, I enjoy videogames and watching TV shows. My greatest passions are Fantasy, Sci-fi and Mokaccinos :3
Nice to meet you all!!
I only read it because it said Phantom of the Opera, and I was in my Phantom of the Opera obession. It was entertaining :)
Not the best book out there, that's for sure. Reading it reminded me of Conny Mendez's metaphysics books, but in more simple words and aimed to any kind of people. It actually helped to change "the switch" inside my head, and to stop being a pessimistic. But it's no secret. The law of attraction is a truth that every body knows, but they just don't want to see. Whatever the reason. Still... I expected something more for such a book that caused such a huge stir (is that the word?)
I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, but when I read this book (I was 12 by the time), I hated it. I was disappointed.
And then a friend forced me to read the third. Her reasons were simple "I felt the same as you with the first and second book, but my aunt gave the third and fourth for Christmas, so I didn't have another option. They are good, you are going to like them". The next day she arrive with the prisoner of Azkaban, and that was the end for me :)
So then, my cousin had the second book. Curiosity led me to read it. It was far more entertaining than the philosopher's stone, and it caught my attention.
The whole book was awesome, until I read the epilogue. It ruined it, but still it's one of my favourites XD
